Dear Friends and Neighbors,
Pierre came to Tacoma in 1985 as a young U.S. Army soldier stationed at Fort Lewis, and he has lived in Pierce County ever since. An immigrant from Haiti, Pierre fell in love with Mount Rainier and the beautiful scenery of the Northwest. He and his wife Jeong In, an immigrant from South Korea, are raising their two children in our community.
Pierre is a working man who drives trucks for a living, but he has grown tired of politics as usual in Olympia. He is running for the State Senate because South Tacoma, Lakewood, Parkland, and Spanaway need new representation. He knows that his neighbors are ready for change.
The incumbent is out of touch with his constituents. He has voted repeatedly to raise taxes, and he voted against tax relief.
Pierre will fight for three things as your State Senator:
First, lower property taxes.
Second, lower car tabs.
Third, lower crime rates.
Pierre is deeply connected to our community and determined to give back as our next State Senator.
